Vacuum and Pressure Forming
When bringing a product to market, tooling costs can represent a significant initial investment. When compared to other processes, one big advantage of pressure forming is a much lower tooling investment – up to 90% less than injection molded tooling. In terms of quality and detailing, pressure formed parts compare favorably to injection-molded parts. Flexible volume production runs are available from 1 to 10,000 parts and tooling is guaranteed for the life of your product as long as tooling remains at Grand Canyon Plastics. The pressure forming process offers close tolerances, design flexibility, and high levels of detail. Our forming capabilities allow for part sizes up to 5’x8’ x 40”

CNC Machining
After forming is complete, the newly created part will be accurately trimmed. This critical step utilizes our in-house programmed CNC Machines. Grand Canyon Plastics utilizes five-axis CNC routing machines featuring dual tables which are capable of handling either large part sizes or multiple parts simultaneously to accelerate part production.
