東洋エンタープライズ社(Toyo Enterprises)のミリタリーレーベル「Buzz Ricksons バズリクソンズ」のブルーシャンブレーミリタリーワークシャツ(メンズ 長袖シャツ ロングスリーブシャツ)です。

この製品は、アメリカ海軍のワークユーティリティシャツ(米海軍士官用の作業シャツ)の復刻モデルです。1940-1950年代のミリタリースタイルの要素を随所に盛り込みつつも、シルエットは当時のオーバーサイズから現代風にアレンジされたバズリクソンズオリジナルスペックで、テーラーメイドの繊細なシルエット、ディテール、縫製を取り入れ、街着として着易い洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

衿は台衿付きのレギュラーカラーのフルオープンシャツタイプで、スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。

素材はコットン100%のワンウォッシュ済みライトウェイト薄手シャンブレー生地です。

経糸と緯糸に異なる色の糸を使用した平織織物で、生地表面にはランダムな織りムラ、スラブ、ネップ(糸の塊)、上品なシワ感・霜降り感があらわれています。通気性の良い清涼感のある薄地のカジュアルな生地です。新品の状態では適度なザラ感とハリ感が残された仕様になっておりますが、着用と洗濯を繰り返すごと生地が馴染み、柔らかい風合いが増し、デニムのように美しく経年変化していきます。

このシャツには、ワンウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため、全体的に生地の彩度が落ち、またシャツの全体の色に統一感がもたらされ、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感と落ち着いた雰囲気のある風合いが生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるシャツに仕上げられています。

この製品は、ワンウォッシュ済みですので、縮みは最小限で(縮率は通常の洗濯で3%以内)サイズ選びも容易です。

フロントは6つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。ボタンには2つ穴のシンプルで上品な尿素丸皿ブルーボタンが使用されています。ボタンホールは縦方向に穴が開けられています(トップボタンのみ横方向に穴が開けられています)。

両胸には、ボタン留めポケットが設けられています。

負荷のかかるショルダー部分にはもう1枚生地をあてたバックヨーク仕様で、ヨークは前身まで引き出されています。

主要部分の縫製は、2本針巻き縫いのビンテージワークシャツの仕様を再現した王道的なつくりです。

両脇裾にはセルヴィッチ仕様のマチが付き、空縫いすると出てくる「空環」の、2本針(ダブルステッチ)の撚り糸が垂れ下がっています。30～50年代のワークシャツに見られたもので、補強の為に採用されたとされています。昔ながらのワークシャツの縫製手法を踏襲したディティールです。

衿裏にはラベルと「DA-36-243-QM(CTM) 8704-C-58」のスタンプが配されています。

Buzz Rickson Men's U.S. Navy Military Chambray Shirt, Plain Long Sleeves BR25995

This shirt is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Ricksons from Toyo Enterprises. Body pattern is a reproduction of the U.S. Navy military chambray shirt. Also this shirt is slimmer fit without bulk as opposed to the original U.S. Navy military chambray shirts. It is cut to flatter the body, unlike the original ultra-loose styles. This slimmer cut is offered for those who prefer something slimmer and less bulky than the original US Navy military chambray shirt design, whereby the armhole has been raised higher, the sleeves further tapered, and the body slimmed down vs. the full cut of the original USN design.

Gender : Men.

Fit : Slim fit for a fashionable feel and a tailored look. The shirt has a modern fit which is slim in the arms and throughout the body.

Our model wears a size US Small(14-14 1/2) and is 175cm/5'9″tall, 61kg/134lbs and 91cm/36" chest.

Material : 100% cotton, One washed, chambray fabric.

Fabric Type : Made of a one-washed non-stretch light-weight chambray fabric with a slubby and frosty texture. A chambray is a plain weave fabric woven with a colored yarn in the warp and a white yarn in the weft. This fabric has a natural, breathable plain weave fabric woven from cotton fibers, with crispy feel and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric. The selvedge chambray is produced on vintage shuttle looms also replicating the vintage America design. The more you wear, the more fabric will fade beautifully and continue to get softer and cozier. This item is one-washed and dyed for fade and vintage look and feel. The shirt is washed once, thus this is the final size fitting.

Placket type : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. The buttons are custom manufacturing of correct mid-blue, urea dish buttons.

Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with selvage gusset, and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge, a classic detail found on authentic work shirts. This detail was found on work shirts of the 1930s-1950s and is believed to have been used to reinforce the hem.

Storage : Two chest pockets secured by buttons.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance.

Yoke type : Straight yoke. Reinforced double-thickness shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the shirt : No pleats.
